I identify with Sauron the best. Beacause I want to take over the world.

Eeek! We should lock you up at once then! ...I'm actually quite curious about how one would feel after having taken over the world. Probably a little more than elated at first, but then the problems witll start: Keeping power, and keeping oneself from boredom (an ambitious person, having control of the world, will have nothing left to aspire to!). I wouldn't want Sauron's job.

Glad to see so many women here! I think I probably identify with Frodo the most, I feel kind of alientated from everyone around me and I can't explain it, even to my friends. I feel very much like I will always be alone no matter who I am with. I also identify with Eowyn's sadness. However, when I'm in better spirits I feel like Pippin, if only because of being accident prone and having a love of beer.

I'd have to go with Merry for myself, although I'd much rather be a lovely elf. Merry, though, was far more complicated than he originally seemed, which is definitely me. Plus, he seemed happy-go-lucky and dense at times most of the time, but he actually proved to be insightful and quite intelligent, which (I hope, at least) is me. Plus he's a fan of food, and is fallible, yet capable of doing great things. He was terrified of the Nazgul on the battlefield in Gondor and hid for a moment or two, yet managed to stab it. He had hidden courage, and that's something that I also believe I have.
Although there's also quite the Pippin in me; I tend to trip and spill things and say the wrong thing at the wrong time and make a general *** of myself. *grins* Now that I've talked more about myself than anyone probably wanted to hear, I'll shut myself up. Oh, and hello! I'm new. [ December 30, 2001: Message edited by: Airetelluma ]

LOL--Sam! (Surprise anyone?) I believe in loyalty to my friends, I'm a homebody (part Bilbo, maybe?) I prefer the quiet, and hey, though I'm not as good as Sam, I'm a GARDENER!

Well, I really dont think that Im much like any of the charactors. Must of them have qualties that I have, and many have qualties that I wouldn't want to have. All in all I really dont know which one I identify with best. But I would love to be like Aragorn, a powerful, wise, and compassionate man.

I identify with all of them in some way, but mostly with the elves, and their knowledge and at the same time, especially with Legolas (my opinion) his naievity of the world, and at the same time (again my feelings) his childish nature but maturity and quick temper all at the same time.

I identify most with Legolas; He is Noble, proud and treats all the companions with love and respect. Also he is strong, clever and compassionate. Legolas represents all the things that I would like aspire to.

I'm like Pippin, always seeming to get in trouble. And then I have Old Bilbo's sense of adventure, or maybe that's Frodo's... Well, I don't know, one of them.

I would be Fingolfin! Valiant, strong, and can lead a large group of people. I also like Noldor Elves because, well, they were the greatest Elves EVER! And challenging Morgoth takes guts. And injuring him 7 times and cutting his leg off is just badarse! I was kinda sad when he died though.

I mostly identify with Legolas. He is compassionate, brave and loyal, but he also carries a sadness about what is happening to his world.
Plus I'd be quite happy to spend my days in Rivendell, Mirkwood or Lorien |

I identify with Eowyn the most, but there´s also much of Pippin in me.
There´s something in almost every character that i identify with, but i think if i´d be someone from LoTR i would be Eowyn.i am a girl and in real life i often feel like her. But i could compare myself with Frodo, too.

Gandalf the White. I have fought my own subterranean battles with my own internal Balrogs, and came out stronger. I don't like wielding power over others, but will do so if absolutely necessary. I don't think I can be bought, or seduced by power. I know more about how the world works than most, and I am still reasonably sane and compassionate. I have bushy eyebrows and twinkly blue eyes that can kindle in both mirth and anger. I also like my pipeweed...
