Oh, yeah! I'm female. And I have the double X chromosome to prove it. (Or you could just check out the BD photopage.)

The game will be starting on Monday 13 at about 3 PM CST (GMT -6). The game will start with NIGHT 1 and expect your roles sometime tomorrow. Seeing that this is a small game there will be no mytho or cursed role. ( sad I know)
So the roles will be: 3 werewolves, 1 ranger, 1 hunter, 1 seer, and 7 villagers 1) Thinlómien ~ Penguin-fisher 2) JennyHallu ~ Friendly neighborhood tax collecter 3) Eonwe ~ Hermit 4) Wilwarin ~ Mathematics professor 5) Sleepy Ranger ~ Messiah of Rock 'n' Roll 6) Firefoot ~ Person who runs the stables 7) Roa_Aoife ~ Local protestor/ lobbyist 8) Valier ~ Dance instructor 9) Nogrod ~ Pipe-weed grower 10) Elu Ancalime ~ Brass Musician 11) Gandalf_the _white ~ Magician 12) Folwren ~ Seamstress 13) Mithalwen ~ Baker/confectioner That's the complete list and if you see any mistakes let me know. One last thing: retractable votes, yes or no?

I must let everyone know that I will have to vote early pretty much every day. I don't get home till 4:30 central time. I hope that's okay!! I will try to read everything really well though to make up for the votes...Though if the vote is retractable I may be able to sneak in a vote before deadline if anything new arises..Let me know if this is good.

I can go either way, however I must say that with non-retractable votes I too will likely have to vote fairly early. I can log on in the morning (six-ish CST), which is still nine hours before the deadline, but I get home right around three on most days and trying to leave the vote till then is extremely iffy. The point is that I would be voting early either way but if there were retractable votes my vote might be more informed.
Timezone factor aside, I generally prefrer non-retractable votes, but I've enjoyed games with both versions. |

I'm sending out roles soon (oh how exciting) and remember to make sure you're invisible once the game starts.
Looking at what most people have said retractable votes are out. Also there won't be any double-lynchings. So tomorrow at 3 PM CST (GMT -6) the game will start on the NIGHT phase and the three wolves may PM one another.

just so you know:
Due to a death in the family, my husband and I will be traveling home at the end of this week for a few days. I'm not sure yet exactly when, but it should encompass Th, F, S, & S, and possible M. I will try to get online, but cannot promise anything. If I die, I die, and I'll just have to play in the next game. Thank you, Jenny

I won't be posting much tomorrow. I will post at my morning (before 7 GMT) and then maybe during my schoolday, if the school library is not closed. (It's very often closed.) I will see my friends in the afternoon, so I don't know will I be able to post. The worst opportunity is that I can be online only less than an hour in the morning. So I won't be discussing very much and might vote very early.

So Sleepy informed me he is having some computer trouble, so he'll be away a lot, but he'll be voting every day.
By the way the game is now open for play.

Just a note for everyone.
I'm going to a school enders' party-cruise tomorrow evening local time (+2GMT), and will be back at earliest around this time on Friday. So if I'm still alive after this night's vote and the oncoming night's WW-activity, I will be posting to the game only after 5-6 PM (GMT), so four to five hours before the vote. If I manage to find a working net-connection from the ship, I'll come in earlier.

The misfortunes of Thinlómien:
- my mother was sick and didn't go to work so she was sleeping in the morning and I couldn't get to the computer which is in her room - our school library was closed due to the students' bad behaviour in library - I spent the whole evening with my RL friends

Oh, I'm not particularly worried about messing up the genders of the unintentionally androgynous. It's the ones who thought they were being very clear and I was just not paying attention.
And I think you're a girl.

Um, question:
If I say its 3:00 pm when I'm posting this, everyone else will see the time I posted in their own time zone, right? If that is true, it would solve alot of problems wouldn't it. Cuz then you could just count the hour difference from my time to yours and add/subtract that from any relevent times. Or am I missing it entirely?

I am posting to inform you all that I am preparing even as we speak to drive home for a funeral. I will try to post during the next two Days, but you may get nothing more than a vote from me, if that. Tuesday I will be back, so I have no excuse on the third Day from now. Hopefully I'll still be alive

'ere, look. I don' exactly know wot ye're folks's problem is about time zones is, but if you go to the game and look at the post in which Kitanna said 'Posting closed. Expect Wilwarin's death shortly' that was done at 3:00 GMT exactly. That means, that DAYS end and start at 4:00 EST. The time that shows up on your screen is your own time zone, not other people's. So, I'm posting this around 4:15 GMT time. But if you're in any other time zone, it'll show up at 5:15, or 6:15, or whatever else you may live.
Is it clear now? -- Folwren

Well, even though I'm dead I'd like to explain my absence.
I got a last minute call from work, practicaly as I walked into the door from school, asking me to go in, was too rushed to get on the computer and vote before I left. Anyway, I'm happy I even got picked as Hunter. Good luck on the game!

Wanted to say that I will be at home and therefore without internet from today around 4:30 to Tuesday next. That means, I'll be missing most of this DAY and will also miss two entire NIGHTS, one entire DAY, and the beginning half or so of yet another DAY. . .but you don't need to worry about that. I'll be hopping on, you understand, Tuesday morning, around 8:40 or so. At which time, I'll be reading a LOT of stuff and will reply probaby closer to 9:30 with something substantiel. (These times are GMT times, according to the game.) (Also, this is assuming I'm still alive.)
I hope you don't kill me out of spite. That'd be really mean. -- Folwren

As I am also a total newbie to this kind of WW-game, I'm not sure whether this kind of messages are appropriate in this channel, but you shoud advice me not to make these, if it is inappropriate.
But really. After last nights experience I just can't hold my tongue. This game is going very bad indeed. It's not only, that the WWs' are pretty good, but also, because we have so many villagers who seem not to play the game at all. RL is an excuse, and a good one. But without people really posting we end up with those last night -kind of situations and almost random killing of innocents. Please post people! Mainly I'm pointing at Gandalf who says nothing and Elu who just speaks without any substance to the game at all. And vote too! PS. We really gave you a bad birthday present last night Sleepy!!! I'm very sorry about that. Happy birthday anyhow!
