All right, I went ahead and went for more ruckus. I'd say both my Orcs are in a world of trouble (if of different sorts); Encai, when you do get to write a response, I give you permission to do about anything to Grimkul short of killing him...

Sorry everyone, had a busy weekend. Tomorrow's my first day back in school, so... But no excuses.
I'm glad the orcs are having fun. I want to make the time jump very soon. The action has definitely died down, and it's time we moved on to the real action, eh? Unfortunately, *very soon* means within the next few days. Don't worry, once I get back in school, things should be fine. I won't be spending all my time doing homework (if I spend any time at all doing it... ). |

I left an opportunity for you to post if you wish . . . Skald has the creeps in the open, airy Elven city . . .

Welcome back, Aman! And you can post before the time jump if you want to, or you can wait until after it. Whatever you please. I'll be getting one more post up very soon, with Celebrimbor being informed that the Dwarves have arrived. Then...cut to the time jump.

It sounds dwarfish to me to drop off the Elves and get out of there, avoiding making any social calls to Celebrimbor.

Well, then, if that's what you think, Durelin, then I guess that's what I'll do, unless anyone else has an objection.

Getting the Dwarves home would be great. Skald doesn't want to hang around and I'm betting Riv wants to get back to his little family.

Okay! Save filled. I was kind of rushed writing it, so the scene itself is rushed, too. Tomorrow, if I have time, I might go back and edit it again. No promises on that, though, unless someone really objects to my leaving it at that.

Sorry, everyone...I'm alive.
Once again, I'll get my post up and move us along as soon as possible. The site being down threw me off, as I was unsure of when it went down, and what could be awaiting me. Between school, internet trouble, etc, I've gotten a little behind. But I'm about to catch up. If my post isn't up by tomorrow evening, you may lynch me! |

And I thought I was safe because so much time had gone by......... I might've known, though. -------------------- Alrighty, then, five months (or so) have passed since we took the Lorien Elves to Eregion. Rumors of orcs traveling through the mountains and other places towards that city have reached us...was that our time jump? If it was, then I'll set about writing in reply to your last post, Arry. If it was not, then I may refrain. - Folwren

Durelin's SAVE post will jump us ahead about 2 years - sometime near the siege of Ost-in-edhil. I only did a small jump to show how the Dwarves are at home now. Please do write a reply - but leave it on the Discussion Thread. Pio can slot it in right after mine. How does that sound? -- Arry

*sigh* Sorry. No post tonight. I shouldn't make quick promises to get bits of writing done because it just doesn't happen sometimes. I've got some of it written...so I may have it up by tomorrow.

Durelin and possibly CaptainofDespair & Envinyatar
I just put up 2 SAVES - the Dwarves are working through a bit more storyline. Can you please move your posts below my 2 SAVES if they need to be after the time jump Durelin is making. Thanks! ~*~ Pio

Posts have been moved...and my post is actually a post. We have finally moved on - it is early in the Spring of 1697, and should be around that time for everyone. The orcs will be all together as a part of the army now, and the Elves of Lindon will be moving again, slowed a little by the winter. The Dwarves'll be doing their own thing.
Sorry again to everyone about the delay on things, my internet access was off and on the past few days, and I just finished my first week of scool. Things are smoother now, and we'll keep things going. We Elves should expect a visit from someone special soon. And Child of the 7th Age will be joining us with a "cameo character." |

Arry and Pio,
I've written my post. I sent Pio a PM asking what to do with it. You all should be seeing it soon then, I dare say. I'm afraid it's rather long...very long, in fact, but I hope it's not boring. I guess we'll see. - Folwren

I meant to say this when I posted it but I didn't have time and I forgot later. Have Bror instantly go to where he tied the end of the rope to the hook in the wall and let Riv down carefully. Otherwise, the poor chap might have a nasty fall.

Well, I have placed yet another post. I have set camp for Angoroth's army, and brought Enca and Firefoot's orcs to the camp (a bit of jump?). If that needs to be edited, I'll gladly do so.

Excellent post, CoD. One thing - Grimkul and Ulwakh have no rank - they're just ordinary soldiers, so there's no reason for them to have been mentioned to your character.

The Elves of Lindon have moved nearer to Ost-in-edhil.
We'll do a little scouting and dally here and there until we need to make our too-late appearance in the battle.

Great posting, everyone!
Arestevana - I've stuck Commander Elgedon and a 'scout' who can be your character if you'd like in the mockery of a 'council.' If you'd like, you could take on the role of Elgedon (or just have your character there). Aman - I called your character Narisiel in my post...is that alright? Is all this RPing finally starting to get to you? |

What's happened to Piosenniel? Her poor dwarf is likely dead from hanging for so long. Not to mention what sort of condition I am in whilst waiting for her reply.

I'm here and will most likely have a post up tonight, or the wee hours of the morning. Sorry for the delay! I'll get you, my pretty . . . and your little dog, too . . . all in good time . . . --------- Durelin I put a heading on your post of 9/3 - the one that jumped the game ahead - just so it would be clear to all we are now 2 years ahead. --------- Envinyatar Enjoyed how you brought in the old great forests and the Ents! Great posts everyone! ~*~ Pio
