Well. That didn't take long at all. Guess I should go out and get one of those newfangled book-looker thingies.

Where does one find it - being "across the pond"?

His Stories of Muddy-earth Vol 1
For those of you who don't know, here is how I came to write these books.
Nine years ago I belonged to a Smial (group) of my local Tolkien Society. We discussed ways of getting more members to join us on our monthly meetings. In the group were two teachers, one soldier and one ex-soldier (me), there were a few others who I never actually asked about their jobs. We decided that we would launch a website and we would all contribute something to it, my effort was to be a couple of pages of a parody a month. We never got around to the website, but I continued to scribble down my parody, which I'd started on a holiday in Tunisia. I wrote it all on A4 paper then rewrote it onto my computer, I still have the pile of paperwork in my filing cabinet. I wrote it on trains, on planes and in automobiles.... during breaks at work and others places I won't mention. I finished it almost four years ago and it sat stagnant on my computer, I'd done what I set out to do. Towards the end of last year I got a message on Facebook from Davem asking about it. I'd met him and the lovely Lalwende at The Tolkien Society 2005 Conference The Ring Goes Ever On, where I proceeded to jabber on about The Lord of the Grins. He asked about the story and whether I'd considered ever releasing it as an E-book, I of course hadn't and wouldn't know where to start I replied, pretending not to be a complete idiot, however he caught me out with his techno-babble. At that point to save his sanity and the book from being lost for ever by my frantic button pushing, he volunteered to do the editing for me. Between us we managed to get The Followship of the Ring out at the beginning of this year...... and The Two Townies this week. The Retinue of the King Vol 1 is almost ready to go, just some proof reading and editing. The Retinue of the King Vol 2 in 3D needs some extensive work by myself before I send Davem completely mad. If any of you buy these books, I hope you like them, I wrote them for people like us....... Tolkien Scholars.

I don't have an e-reader yet, but when I do, I'm very much looking forward to getting these.
