Sting The Noble Collection's One Ring

hey peeps-i've got a question for anybody who got the One Ring Sterling Silver-Gold Plated edition. How many karats is it? i was just curious, and couldn't find any info on this.

Ring

Hi Demloth! I have ordered the One Ring from noblecollection as well! Though in massive gold, but I believe it's the same amount of gold in this as in the gold plated one. That would be ten karats. It might not seem much, and perhaps the gold will look a bit lighter, but the metal will be tougher and not scrape so easily! Otherwise, you can call them. There is a phone number in the information section. I called them all the way from Norway, to find out the karat thing :-).

I have not recieved it yet, though. When I do, I'll post here and tell you how it is. I ordered the Saruman brooch too, that lizard-shaped one. Yay! ^_^

thag you very buch, Morima! yeah, don't have enough cash on hand to buy the solid gold one-but i got a special deal in the LOTR movie to get the gold plated one for 75 bucks! so now i put the definitive seal on my LOTR obsession-the ring. sweet. i wish that i could find a nice looiking and cheap reproduction of Narsil though-i love that sword!! Actually, I thought the sterling silver plated one has 24-karate plating...? But the solid gold one I believed to be just 12. I could be wrong though. I'm saving up for Nenya myself.

The solid gold one is 10 karats. I have gotten it! And I must say: It's perfect. It's big, heavy and the laser-engraved inscriptions are exactly the same as Tolkiens and-written inscription in the book. It was expensive, though, but I think this one is the least expensive ring you can get with such a quality.
