Silmaril Rings of the third age...

Ok, so you all know that the rings (yes, ALL OF THEM) were created...sometime before the third age, right? And there's only 4 named ones out of all the 18 or something? Well, what would happen if somehow for some reason 14 MORE rings were crafted(3 for the elves, 7 for the men and 4 for the dwarves) ? I am currently writing a fanfiction, wherein me and some of my friends are transported into middle-earth, and me and another person have one of the rings of men. Mine is called Niena, and it is the ring of Healing. My friend Mica (nickname Antien) has the ring of shadows, which name I forget right now. But still...what would the others be called?

Thumbs up

I don't know, but I do know the end of the story. You'd all become wraiths. Bow down to your Master Sauron.

Well, he did say 14 MORE rings, so maybe he wouldn't become a wraith, but some other dispicable servant of the dark lord.
Some Quenya names for some "bad-dude" rings could be:
Undume=the abyss
Qualme/Unquale=agony (death)
Faica=contemptible/mean
Morcorma=dark ring
Erda=deserted/alone

Boots

anga= the iron ring

I'm trying to think of more. I think the idea of using the relative Quenya roots to create titles for the rings is a good one.

Some more could be:
Moranna=Dark gift
Mornama=Dark desire

And also, the dark speech might be more appropriate to name the new rings. I however am pretty clueless on most things concerning the dark speech...
Anyone else?

Who says that they're made by Sauron, what if they're all rings that arn't corrupted?

Hm?

Ever think of that?

See, there's an entire theory behind these rings. Since they're a different set, an NEW one ring would have to be made to have the sauron stuff. So therefore the rings DO NOT CORRUPT. They were hidden from all accounts of history and eventually stolen or hidden. Some of the rings are:
Niena-the ring of healing-One of the rings of men-owned by Sharyn
More-the ring of night-One of the rings of men-owned by Rain
Avasa-the ring of shadows-one of the rings of men-owned by Mica
Coive-the ring of awakening
Taure-the ring of the forest-one of the rings of men-Owned by Elise
Raumo-the ring of storms
Amaurea-the ring of the dawn

So that's pretty much it for now. And, by the way, there's TONS of technicalities to what the rings can do, the power they posess, etc, but I won't go into that right now. I'll just say that the rings of the third age are less powerful than the originals.

As long as you don't create "A Master Ring to rule them all..." I think that you should be fine! Those Rings certainly do sound interesting.
