Oh, those look fun! I've played Battle for Gondor on NewGrounds. It's, shall we say, less than canonic, but that's alright. Still fun.

Nice link Gil.

Since you were all talking about the Battle of gondor, I decided to have a go. The first time I decided to decline the offer of reading the rules and died on level 1.

I read them and got to level 11 though. The game is hilariously un-canonic. Elves and Dwarves... And I liked the description of the Nazgul at Minas Tirith, or demon as he was known: During his lifetime the demon was known to torture and kill anything living. The demon was then cursed and sentenced to an eternity of continuing his reign of terror.

I'll check out the others later.

Thumbs up

Try out the Hobbit Rampage. It's pretty challenging.

Hobbit Rampage

Admittedly, it's the opposite of canon (cue giant wasps and polar bears) but it's still fantastically engaging, much better than all those other games I've tried. I got to level fifteen before dying. Nice gameplay

Hobbit Rampage Review

I've completed Hobbit Rampage now. It's easier if you shoot the boars and wasps.

As I said, I really like Hobbit Rampage. It's not like your average flash game in many respects. You have to use strategy as opposed to the usual "stab-stab-stab" kind of game. You have to figure out which weapon works best against each different foe, you have to manoeuvre to dodge enemies, you have to use logic to get from A to B and minimise health loss.

I give Hobbit Rampage 4.5 out of 5 Stars.

I just tried out "Angry Old Wizard". It was funny and fun! You have to try and kill Wraiths that are trying to kill you. And every now and then, for no apparent reson, a Hobbit runs by! It's hilariously funny! Try it out!

I got to level 11 of Battle for Gondor, too. Curse you, Demon of Minas Morgul! Curse youuuuu!!!

Angry Old Wizard is sort of odd, and I keep on dying. A little un-canonic with the pills falling from the sky and the ability to change the wizard's hair.

I just played "The Ringbearer" and I'm telling you it was the easiest and stupidest game there. Try it out and see if you can become "The RIngbearer".

There I go contradicting myself again. Why can't I make my mind up? I think I'm going to go lay down.........

This can only result in hours of non-stop trying of the various games...

*runs off to look at "The Ringbearer"*
