And hobbits like mushrooms!! and carrots, and some cabbages, and potatoes! And stew with herbs, taters, and a brace of conies! and tomatoes, sausages, and nice, crispy bacon.

Probably lots of stews & soups and roasted meats, bread and cheese. Custard ,muffins or pies for dessert.
Sam seems to be well acquainted with fish and chips.

What about the dwarves, though? I see them as a civilization of meat, meat and by Valar, MORE MEAT!!
But the Elves, on the other hand, sometimes when I read certain parts of the books it almost seems to me that they might be vegitairans. Then again, all we hear about from them is the Lembas bread. But even in the Sil. I don't recall them ever eating meat, only fruits and vegatables and grains in the few areas where the book even mentions food.

Orcs would eat...well...anything! Dwarves would eat basically the same as Hobbits, and Men would have Filet Minion with Shoestring fries! yum! Elves can't eat only Lembas though, they have to have something else. So, mabey Galadriel has a hidden tunnel filled with chocolate. I can just see her stuffing her face with chocolate! elves probably have similar things to hobbits and men, except in smaller portions. Mabey they don't eat at all! Just kidding. Elves do look very thin though...

Anyone for Dominoes Pizza?
Hobbits drink beer and eat pizza , fish and chips, and everything else they can find. Elves eat lembas. And chocolate. And other tasty things. Dwarves eat cram, a rather blah diet. And trolls eat mutton and dwarves. And orcs...eat all of the above, hobbits, dwarves, cram, pizza... |
