Thranduil's Palace ? - The Barrow-Downs Discussion Forum

Well my question is was his palace/caves created at least in part by the Dwarves. There's a line in the two towers were Gimli says they were but for some reason i thinks there's another line that seems to suggest they weren't helped by Dwarves.I mighty be wrong but any knowledge or insight will be greatly appreciated.
