Who was Ringbearer the shortest amount of time?
"One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them,
One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them." Who had the ring the least time? The way I read it, it would be Deagol, then Samwise, unless you count Tom Bombadil holding it for a moment, or Gandalf when he threw it into the fire at Frodo's, or Gollum on his second possesion of the Ring. Then there was Isildur at 2 years. Of course Sauron held it the longest. I am trying to figure which held it longer, Frodo or Bilbo? |
