I recall a quote somewhere stating that Sauron was greater than Morgoth by the end of the First Age with the Ring. Does this mean that with the Ring, Sauron rose to the might of a Vala? Or how exactly weak was Morgoth by the end of the First Age? __________________ I am Annatar, the Lord of Gifts.
