Silmaril Admin/Sign Up for TliG XXV: All Star-Crossed With Nowhere to Go

Roles:

Four (4) Lover teams:

Werewolf / Werewolf's Lover

Werebear / Werebear's Lover

Werecat / Werecat's Lover

Werebird / Werebird's Lover <-- Lovebirds, tee hee

One (1) Ranger

One (1) Watcher

At least ten (10) Ordinary Villagers

The Lovers are composed of one werecreature and one lover. They are allowed to PM each other at Night and get one (1) kill per night. Each team operates independently of the others and does not know the identities of the other Lovers. It is possible for one team to kill a member of another team. When one member of a team dies, the other dies as well, in traditional Lover fashion.

The ordo lovers comes up as innocent to the Watcher.

The Watcher is a combination of a Ranger and a Seer. Each night the Watcher is granted one (1) dream and one (1) protection. The Watcher may dream first. The Watcher may not protect the same person two nights in a row, but they may protect the same person on non-consecutive nights. The Watcher does not know the identity of the Ranger and may not PM the Ranger at any time.

The Ranger may not dream, but is allowed one (1) protection each night. The Ranger may not protect the same person two nights in a row, but they may protect the same person on non-consecutive nights. The Ranger does not know the identity of the Watcher and may not PM the Watcher at any time.

The Goal for each Lover team is to be the last team standing. The last team standing beats the other teams even if they are defeated by the Innocent Villagers in the end. But if they can manage to be the last two players alive, they win the overall game as well. They win if they can reduce the number of innocent Villagers to two (2). In this case, and this case only, the Ordo Lover counts as a werecreature.

The Villagers' goal is to kill every last Werecreature/Lover.

Ideally, I would like a minimum of 20 players for this game. There will be 8 werecreature/lovers and 2 innocent gifteds, and with less than 20 players that would leave less than half the village as ordos.

The game will start as soon as I can get 20 players, though I would welcome more if that were at all possible.

If I am not able to get enough players, I have two options:

Relinquish the next game to someone else with smaller plans, or myself run a smaller game. I have a character called the Basilisk in mind for a non-Lovers game (the Basilisk is a character which, if dreamt of at night, results in the Seer's immediate death). So I wouldn't be opposed to running that smaller game.

You can sign up here, or ask questions about the roles/gameplay for this game, etc. I would hope to start in a week or so, though if getting enough players requires a slightly longer wait, it's all the same to me, as long as others don't mind.
