Don't cry for me Gríma Wormtongue
In TTT, after Saruman gives his uruk army a pep talk, we see the Gríma is crying (well, a single tear slowly trickles down his dirty cheek). I'm wondering why exactly.
I've thought of several possiblities with various levels of selfishness: 1) He's realized "no dawn for men" is his country, and that's all his fault. 2) He's realized "no dawn for men" includes Éowyn, and that's all his fault. 3) He's realized "no dawn for men" includes himself, and that's all his fault. Of course it's probably each to varying levels, but how much of which?
