These are SO funny. It has happened to me before, though, like sometimes somebody says, "Look! Do you like my ring?"
And I say, "Where did you get the ring of power? IT's EVIL! PUT IT BACK! Take it AWAY!" And they all stare at me like, *huh? are you okay?*.
