The Ring vs. Sauron
Sauron poured much of his malice, hate, and will into the ring. The ring was made to have a will of its own. Could the ring have decided to do its own thing and break away from its master? If it decided to rebel, could it have corrupted a new master, and then helped them usurp the real Sauron's throne?
The ring was apart from Sauron, but also a part of Sauron. The parts were separated, and only one survived physically. Could the one part be greater then the other? Could the master have poured more than too much into his creation? Will I ever stop talking in QUESTIONS? I think that its possible that the ring, with its own will, could have decided it wanted more power than Sauron, and could tried to use itself against him.
