Sting A Bit of Fun Comparison

I was reading the newspaper this morning and decided perhaps it was time for a comparison thread in the "Middle-earth Mirth" forum. Here's what I've got so far, just a bit of politically liberal fun.
  • George W. Bush = Sauron

A tyrant bent on conquering foreign lands, settling old scores. Just as Sauron's hatred for Gondor reflects Morgoth his predecessor's hate for the Houses of the Edain, so does Bush's invasion of Iraq stem from his father's hatred for Saddam Hussein and inability to oust him from power! After defeating an old nemesis, what is next for Bush/Sauron, you ask? The world.
  • Howard Dean = Aragorn

A hopeful hero, emerging from a long-dormant but once powerful line (the line of the Unafraid Democrats), to challenge the villanous power structure that threatens to put an end to democracy and freedom as we know it.
  • George Soros = Elrond

The extremely wealthy, bleeding-heart liberal, who is willing to make big sacrifices to ensure a better future for the people.
  • The Other Democratic Nominees = The Fellowship of the Ring

Although they cannot foresee the future of their quest, and although there is a good deal of tumult amongst them, their purpose is clear: to defeat the evil totalitarian dictator by any means necessary. And to destroy the Ring of Power (think Wolfowitz, Chaney + Halliburton, Rumsfeld, etc.) that corrupts all who come into contact with it.

These are just a few short ones I've strung together. Feel free to add your own, as long as they are intelligent (preferably humorous, if you can succeed where I have failed) comparisons between Lord of the Rings characters and key players in Decision 2004 and in American politics in general.

[EDIT]: Feel free to add to any of the comparisons listed above, as well.

Cheers,
Angmar
