Sorry I took so long, but the first person who responded was correct, so was everybody else. And
I thought that someone would have gotten it later! Well, Osgilliath is located about 50 miles or so from Minas Tirith, where Boromir held off a group of orcs shortly before he joined the fellowship. That was for some good answers! So go ahead! |

Mundburg by the people of Rohan for whatever reason...I don't know Rohirric (yet).
And Minas Anor was its original name, partly because it was the city of Anorien, and partly because it was the Western city, and the sun (anor) sets in the west.

I can't find the right place to look, but I'm remembering "wind"...Tower of Wind. Is that right?
edit: Oh, I found it, and "Windy Hill" was pretty close to what I said... What is Isengard's other name? (I'm not looking for Orthanc) [ October 06, 2002: Message edited by: Susan Delgado ]

eeemm... I'm sorry, but you did not name them both. APart from the misspelling (which I don't regard as a mistake), it was not Dol Guldur I was looking for. Dol Guldur is the name of the Tower, but not of the hill.
Try again! *hands CE a cookie anyway* greetings, lathspell

The Dol GuldOr is Dol GuldUr... that's themisspelling. And there is another name: Amon Lanc that hill is named.
There seems to be some misunderstanding or so. If that is my fault, I apologize. Please do ask the next question, Childlike Empress. Let us go on! greetings, lathspell

Where'd you get that name, Lathspell? I couldn't find it.
Easy one: What are the names of the two hills flanking the Falls of Rauros, in both Westron and Sindarin? [ October 12, 2002: Message edited by: Childlike Empress ]
