OK...what is a barrow-wight exactly..I am aware of their part in the story..I was just a bit confused of what exactly they are..what are they suppose to look like? Is there any artwork on them?

yes well i've read the other threads but i still don't understand why/how it was a big hand. [img]smilies/frown.gif[/img] and how exactly do they look? i always picture them to be like the nazgűl in a way, but in white. still confused. [img]smilies/confused.gif[/img]

I'm still confused too. I read the other threads as well and it just makes it even more confusing [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img] Lady_Báin, I figured they resembled the nazgul as well.

I kind of figured that what they look like are suppose to remain mysterious..I guess what I want to know is how does Frodo and all them percieve them..

i think barrow-wights look like skeletons, albeit skeletons with all sorts of regal garb on them-but i wouldn't know for sure.

I don't figure Barrow-Wights look like anything. Methinks they're ghosts, invisble like and intangible. But they can animate stuff. The way I see it, a barrow-wight animated that severed arm so it could chop us all to little pieces! I bet they could animate the skeletons in tombs as well. They're ghosts, ultimately. Very evil ones who hate the living. That has always been my take on them. Of course, that's pure speculation on my part. I've never actually read anything official on them.
