Lord of the Rings (The Movies) in one word.
To take from Fordim's idea (I hope he didn't copyright that?) Here is now a thread to post one word describing the movies.
The same rules still apply from Fordim's thread (one post, one word...no continuous chain posts of one word describing the movies...etc). Positive and Negative words describing the movies are allowed, (but no arguing/championing your choice of one word). To start out...perhaps the most obvious: Trilogy

The way I see it Peter Jackson made my favourite book into a spectacular and thought provoking movie, the greatest movie of all time in my view, he worked for many years and sacrificed much but eventually the movies got made. Unfortunately some were not satisfied were they? Where was Bombadil? Why did Faramir not act as he did in the book? Why did Frodo enter Shelob's Lair alone? Now, I do not wish to disregard these concerns but many of said concerns have been stated in a snide and holier-than-thou manner which I can not accept. Wasn't it enough that the movies were made? That the cast and crew spent so much time and effort trying to please us? Does that mean nothing? And so, when I think of the movies I always think of the word "ingrattitude". Again, I'm not naming names and I trust you all to draw your own conclusions.
