Question
Hey, I picked up the Two Towers yesterday and started reading. I haven't read any LotR in a long time so maybe I'm just forgetting something. In Herbs and Stewed Rabbits, Foromir, Frodo and the rest speak of a rhyme. I don't remember any rhyme. Could some one please clue me in? Thanks.

They speak of the riddle which brought Boromir to Rivendell:
Seek for the Sword that was broken: In Imladris it dwells; There shall be counsels taken Stronger than Morgul-spells. There shall be shown a token That Doom is near at hand, For Isildur's Bane shall waken, And the Halfling forth shall stand. Does this ring a bell? I'd add more details, but I haven't got a copy of FotR with me.

Thanks for the riddle. Just one more thing, does any one know where in the book it is?

Book II, Chapter II: The Council of Elrond. Boromir recites it when relating the dream experienced by himself and Faramir.
