Enjoy the end of WWJ V!
Constructive criticism on my writing would be appreciated!

Just joking dear, it was wonderfully done. At moments when it seemed there might be a plot fall, you swooped in with a twist and clue. To write is a great thing, most people just make words... Or are forced to droll their life away with thesis papers. the only thing that I might advize is a clearer means of ending of sorts, for further games contruction and passing of the Mod staff... But that is just my opinion, and it is your work to how you deem it. Anyways, it was wonderfully written and proved most excellent an entertainment whilst in the thesis paper pit. Hope to see more from you my dear! ...Even if you decided to render my legs useless for a second time in my life... ~ Aesthete

That was well done. The ending left me a bit confused (random SPM cameo) but you managed to be grotesque with out over doing it. I was impressed. ^_^

I have given this some thought now (well, that's not to say that much, but some).
We all seem to be quite unanimous about the first day in WW-game to be quite a frustrating one: where people really can't quite play, and they have to wait for someone to do something somewhat radical to make the discussion going (and that someone then gets lynched just by opening the discussion). Could this be changed? Could we get some "real stuff" in the air on the first day too? What I was thinking, was, that the moderator, as s/he gives the roles, would simultaneously send every villager a dream (could be tied into the overall storyline) where they saw either a wolf going on a villager, or two villagers running away from an unknown wolf etc. The idea being, that some of those dreams might be true, some would be partly true and some just pure nonsense - and the wolves would come in to have their own, invented "dreams" during the day, that they would try to use to their advantage. I think that would give the first day a totally new twist, but at the same time the mod should be really careful about the ratios of true and false dreams. If they almost all are false, no-one believes them and it's just as good as nothing, if they mostly are true, they could reveal too much, at least as the game goes forwards (or then not: the basics of the game is lying anyways - and the wolves can have their say on the overall confusion)? So what do you think? Is it any good idea to begin with? How should we stipulate the ratios: totally true, halfly true, totally wrong - or should we have only one or two kinds of them? I would like to try modding at some time this spring, but would be just as happy, if someone else would like to give this a try (for I wouldn't be ready to do that in some time from now on - and I quess there is something of a queue to mod these games) "What say you?"

I do declare Nogrod that is not a half bad idea, a lot of work for the mod, though.

Err... I'd like to join in the game, if it's okay?
Bear in mind, I've never come across this game before... so I might totally be a flop at it on the first trial... though it's okay! I'm okay to embarrass myself this once only! |

Please put me down as a possible. I may or may not join, depending on details and whether the Senior game finishes up fairly quickly now they're down two wolves. Farael's modding next there, and I'm not sure where I'd rather play.

Ok I will be posting the thread soon, so everyone can get an idea as to what is going on.
I will need a minimum of 15 players before we start. I live in cst so I don't know how this works for everyone else. I will more than likely have the game start at about 5 pm cst that is 7 est I think (correct me if I am wrong) LIST OF PLAYERS SO FAR Sleepy? Telperaca Kitanna Jenny Hallu? Farael Any questions will be answered on this thread and not the game thread I will be posting shortly. This will be a HOBBIT settlement, so pick appropriate occupations. That would be 6 PM EST, and perhaps even more useful, 11 PM GMT.

However as long as people don't mind me voting early I can't see any reason why there should be any problems.

I don't mind you or Telpie voting early, as long as we know upfront that that's the plan.
I may end up occasionally voting maybe an hour or two early. 4-6 is my commute and argue-with-hubby-over-who's-making-dinner time, so I may not always be able to get to the computer.

I cannot possibly make it earlier, I want to make sure I have time to post. I get home from university no later than 4:30 my time. If the other players do not mind if you vote early, I don't care either Sleepy.

I will be waiting a while before I start the game Farael, I am currently.....busy
So if noone hates me for it I will probably start some time next week perhaps. It's not concrete, but I will wait until we have the appropriate number of people before I start. |

Actually, on second thought but me down as a probable because odds are ME Idol will start sometime this week and when it does I'm not really sure how active I'll be in WWJ (odds are I'll be at least moderately active). So depending on when we're starting I'll decide. (ie; if we're starting before this game I'll have to drop out unless I'm really really needed to play)
Sorry.

Hey, Val, I'm not sure but that I shouldn't step down. I am promised for Farael's game, and while I fear that shall leave me WW-less for some little while, I don't want to let him down.

Still time to join? I hadn't intended to play another one so soon, but I saw "Werecats" and squealed. So. Aye?

Next week is great. I still need to recover from Midsomer Mawlin, anyway. I just didn't want to miss out on Werecats.
And pencil my in for being a barmaid. (Is this okay? Rosie was a barmaid in the movie, so I figured it would fit in the hobbit village.)

Good luck Valier-alas my trip to Italy in a few days means I can't take part, but I'll read your game with great interest once I'm back.
There are few greater kicks in life than modding Werewolf...enjoy...

Should I ever mod a game in the future, you can be sure that Wereducks will come into play one way or another. Just giving everyone fair warning. I hope this doesn't result in a banishment from ever getting the chance for modding duties.

I've played three games in a row now (well, the first three of my life anyways), and could retire for a while. But we'll see... it's kind of addictive.
If we really are starting only the next week at earliest - and Farael does not insist me going to his game, I might be coming in with this one. I kind of would like to try that "senior" WW too. But there's such a megalomanic game going on, that no-one knows, when it ends. So Valier, count me in as a reserve to begin with. (I know my involvement with Mith's record-game started with almost the same reservations). Your first post on the thread looks good! PS. Welcome Telperaca! Nice to see new faces here - and not to be the only newbie around... EDIT: I didn't forgot you Diamond and Jenny... It just sounded better that way, in singular form...
