How many awards has Lord of the Rings won already?Including BAFTAs, Oscars, etc, it's bound to be climbing a bit now

It looks like it is just FOTR, because there are only 4 Oscars on the list, if it was both there would be six(Unless some are missing). That's a lot of awards for one movie! Namarie

It cracked me up that it didn't get nominated for best makeup or cinematography at the Oscars this year 'cause it won so much last year.Wow, I had no idea how many awards this thing has won. Blows my mind.

Yeah that is just for FOTR, but they also forgot to list the People's choice awards, and of course the MTV Movie awards (I know they are not very important, but they are awards) FOTR also won a pile of awards from organizations who give awards to the best Sci-Fi and Fantasy films.Edit: I went and checked the internet movie database which has a list, that is here <A HREF="http://us.imdb.com/Tawards?0120737" TARGET=_blank>FOTR awards</A> I also forgot that FOTR also won the Grammy for best score soundtrackAnd here is their list for TTT <A HREF="http://us.imdb.com/Tawards?0167261" TARGET=_blank>TTT awards</A> I still think it could be more complete though, but I think it is impossible to find a place that lists every single one.[ June 26, 2003: Message edited by: Gorwingel ]
