Yes, the "So many arms" one killed me.... So are they going to cut some of them off? And I can testify as to the reality of these things, seeing as I own one.... Should I be advertising that?

They are so hilarious! "It's most unneutral", "Don't touch me Frodo!" "Don't do me anything, I'm natrual!" "Ondale, my name is Mr Ondale."
Oh my goodness... how funny! The one that killed me? "I don't suppose we'll ever have to see them again". Bye! <font size=1 color=339966>[ 11:23 AM January 04, 2004: Message edited by: Daisy Brambleburr ]

These are quite hilarious!
"Your uncle is varied by your mall content" Hmm, reminds me of what happened when I moved one letter in the ring poem...One ring to rule the mall... "Your stick" Only funny because it should be staff, yet had me falling out of my chair. And Frodo is now a Ringleader, a Wing Baron, and a Ring Barrel.

That's the funniest ! Haven't laughed like that in a while. Whoever made this was REALLY confused...
-Hoppits will the shake the fortunate of all -Not some hot skirter from hot bottle -Trust brandy stuck in a tooth -Legolas is the Lord of Condo Just had to share this one...(and I thought Sam and Frodo were friends...just friends...)

*gasp* The truth is out! Now we know why Sam actually took Frodo in his arms at Mt. Doom!

Yes, I'm sure somebody got a copy of the movie, listened to it and tried to write down what they heard. If they didn't speak English very well or know anything about the story, it would be really hard.
"When Hoppits will shakes the fortunate of all" comes from "One Hobbit will shake the fortune of all."

my favorite is when Gandalf is looking through the old book in moria (durin's?) and the caption says: "And the second condo" and the webmaster wrote beneath it: "moria real estate listings" oh man that one had me on the floor...

This one almost killed me.
I can believe these are real for I saw something on the news that Asian countries are trying to switch to English so fast that they are not translating things correctly. Even signs in stores look like this. <font size=1 color=339966>[ 9:02 PM January 20, 2004: Message edited by: Silmiel of Imladris ]

well, you would think that japan being the world's most technologically advanced country that they would have improved their translators... i mean come on... what's with sam hating frodo? everyone knows Frodo hate sam... (just joking...) Or, did the asian countries try to pull a photo copy and paste the pictures then spin the pictures really fast so it would LOOK like the original. Or, they changed some things to fit their outlook on the lord of the rings series... WHAT AM I SAYING?! THAT'S AGAINST COPYRIGHT REGULATIONS! sorry. i musn't of had enough coffee this morning.
But, what i REALLY think what HAPPENED was that num-chucks and friend though it really funny to make a joke by translating the paraphrases wrongly. either that or they really didn't have enough washabi that morning... When i saw the "bootlegging movie" i know i had enough washabi... thanks that was a really good movie comedy wise. Sorry for my attatuide... i'm pulling one of my-oh-so-famous SIMOND moods.... you know, that jerk off of american idol...

I thought that was the Paths of the Dead? http://public.planetmirror.com/pub/e...-towers-13.jpg Sketchy. Very, very sketchy. http://public.planetmirror.com/pub/e...-towers-07.jpg This one is just hilarious. http://public.planetmirror.com/pub/e...-towers-09.jpg Sorry, Gríma. There's only four of them. http://public.planetmirror.com/pub/e...-towers-09.jpg AHHHHHHH!!!! Say it isn't so! http://public.planetmirror.com/pub/e...-towers-06.jpg Are you allowed to say this in a PG-13 movie? http://public.planetmirror.com/pub/e...-towers-05.jpg No, Gimli! There's so much to live for! http://public.planetmirror.com/pub/e...-towers-05.jpg I think Gollum has a future in advertising for Nike. Good thing we're already dead, because if we weren't, we might have to worry about dying of laughter. I love Engrish.

Curse you, Wing Baron!
The problem with these is that they put at risk any of us who use business chairs. I'm having to hold onto the desk to stop my chair from rolling across the room as I laugh. REB was never this funny.
