By popular request, we are now rereading The Hobbit and discussing it chapter by chapter on the CbC subforum. Before the first movie is released, we have time to go through a chapter every week. Look for "Hobbit2" threads and please join us - I look forward to your thoughts and opinions!

(having read the book many moons ago) I think Thorin makes up with Bilbo on his deathbed. Something like the world would be far better off if more people were like Bilbo.
