Festive, eh? Well, I suppose I could always dye the fur of my shrews red and green. So I could be...The Shepherd of Red and Green Shrews.

As nothing seems to happen in this front, I might think of coming in too. I was reserved to join in a game just immediately after those two that were going on at the same time for me, but now I think I have had my rest...
In that case: Race: Human Gender: Male Occupation: A red-nosed reindeer trainer Although: I will be having some busy times in head of me so I would like to try a totally different approach this time and avoid flood posting. So do not lynch me just because I'm not posting 20 posts/Day. I know I can't keep my mouth shut anyhow and will post quite enough, but I will try to be a bit easier this time.

I knew Noggie wouldn't be able to keep himself out of ww...
Now I just hope that Gil is not mean enough to make him, Mac and LMP the wolves. Anyway, Gil, could you change me to: Thinlómien, male, wannabe-santa, orc Truly, a tragic character: an orc who wanted to be Father Christmas...

I'm antsy to play. We need two more, right? Let's go beat the boards and see who will join, what do you say?
Oh, and no, the werewolves will be Durelin, Noggie and me. |

In that case, Lommy, should we just lynch them all from the start to be on the safe side?

I have never been a wolf.
Seems I might have to pull a "phantom" already... And oh, alright. Gil - please change my "occupation" to "elf who wishes to be an optometrist." Because an optometrist is more Tolkienesque than a dentist, of course. |

I'm sorry, but I won't be able to participate, as I have a recently-scheduled family vacation coming up on the 19th and lasting for a few days. I'll see about joining the next game though.

Are we still planning to start on the 19th? If it gets too close to Christmas I can't play since I don't have a net access home yet and all the public libraries are closed around Christmas.

Maybe we should bring the starting day forward a week or so. I'm sure many people don't have a lot of time to play during the Christmas days and that might keep them from joining.

If it starts the 9th, I may be able to play, but I'd have to jump off a cliff or something after Day 5 or so, so I don't think I'll be joining this one.
Of course, considering my luck lately, I'm probably just going to be lynched on Day 1 regardless of what happens. I'll join you after the New Year though...

What is the setup for this game? Rules etc...I will consider if it's a game that interests me.

Hey, I might be up for a go at this, now I've had the rules explained to me. Though I'm wholly green so you might all be able to get rid of me quickly, I don't know. Maybe I would be a 'dark horse'?

I haven't been able to find the official rules yet. Is this an in-character game? If soI'm not really wanting to play if not and the rules aren't too crazy I'll play if I'm still needed. I'm a big fan of basic games and if they get too far out there I generally don't enjoy them too much.
So if anybody can succintly explain them for this game I would be grateful.

Yeah, Gil hasn't posted any official rules yet...
I think it's a pretty straight-forward game, though, morm. |

That's 13 players if we start before the 13th, 14 players if we wait until the 13th; that is, if Mormegil is satisfied with the rules..... Gilly?

Aagh, more people to my please-not-a-wolf list! (Except Boromir who everytime as a wolf manages to give me "bad feelings"... )
Seriously though, I'm delighted to have this joining rush. Mayhaps we could start soon?

Friends, forgive me but I must withdraw from the game. I apologize for creating expectations among some of you that must go unmet by my (not) humble (enough) person. I won't be playing werewolf anymore.

That's really too bad LMP as you are always enjoyable to have.
Gil, any ideas when we are going to start and a synopsis of rules and players would be good. As you may be aware this thread will be put on a hiatus indefinatly after your game begins so I think a date would be nice, plus as a potential player I'm interested to know.

If you Gil are really ready to mod the game, please come forwards with both the rules and the thread. If you are not ready to host this game in a day or two, please inform us a.s.a.p. so that we can start and/or move you to the bottom of the list (or however it will be in the new constellation).
With this I agree with Morm 100%. The mod should really be ready to make the game when the turn comes and should put some effort in to it. If you're not sure you can do both of them, then lay off it. And tell it openly so that we can go for another one. Please note, that we all are waiting for you here! It's one thing to play or not, but to mod a game is to take care and think of many others. It's an ethics stuff there too: you just can't withdraw or shy away if others are included... By taking the modding you have promised the others you will do it. Let's go, then! PS. Sorry to hear that lmp, shouldn't you reconsider?

Lommy, I would love for you to be able to 'pull the trigger' on me this time (well actually maybe not ). But it may have to wait.
I too am going to pull out, I thought we were gathering players to get started here. It appears there's no idea where this game is going...who's involved and what's going to be done. I have other things to do...sorry everyone.

I think this is getting quite ridiculous.
I have to pull out if this game doesn't start early enough to end on the 21st. Please Gil do something, react in some way. Maybe a mini-game with just two wolves, but really, something.

I'm out.
This might make it so there aren't enough players to even have a game. Either way I'll likely be closing this thread shortly until demands makes it useful again....*sniff* she's been a good thread.

I'd hate to see this get closed down before the game takes off, but unless this game starts soon I'll have to pull out as well. I'll be without a computer for half of January and the way things are looking this game may not start/end before I leave town.

I hate to look like I'm joining the bandwagon () but I'm thinking maybe I shouldn't have signed up - looking at everything that I have to do in the next couple weeks I'm not sure I'll have adequate time to put into this. So sorry, but I'm going to pull out as well.
