I like Elladan and Elrohir because they do what their wimpy father will not. They try to combat evil at every turn, and nothing short of death will stop their efforts. As for Lindir... who is that?

Lindir is the elf that argues with bilbo after he finishes his song in rivendell.

Actually, Elladan and Elrohir are in the movie. They appear for a few seconds in the Council of Elrond, but they look pretty good, anyway. I like them as well. They actually do something, instead of Elrond. But, Elrond is supposed to be wise and old, and if you were 6,000 years old, would you want to fight?

Thought you Elladan and Elrohir fans would enjoy this. I found an art site that has paintings of Elladan and Elrohir. They are near the bottom of the page. Legolas is there too, but he's harder to see.

Elrond had already done more then his share of the work. He had fought in more battles then anyone in the fellowship or his sons. Rivendell was being threatened, if he left, it could have easily been conquered.

I don't think there was enough of a character built for either of them for you to all "love" them. I mean, they were described merely as always away fighting orcs, and then showed up for part of the war. They had no real personalities!
