Honestly, I've been thinking about it, and I'm more and more in favor of option B. What I'm mainly trying to achieve is to kill the bandwaggoning, and to destroy the predictability of a "safe" vote. I think we can all agree that, as werewolves, when we vote and for whom is vastly more important than when we're innocent. I also don't want to make the last few seconds of the Day so important that players such as Nilp or Lhuna, far removed from the time zone of everyone else, are made less effective by circumstance. If the votes are private, the race to vote at the last possible moment should be countered.
BUT: I don't want to get rid of so much valuable information that there is no basis for discussion. Delivering all the information they would ordinarily have, but a day late, might achieve the goals I'm going for, without completely silencing my village.

I feel this sounds a bit Byzantine and that communicating votes might be tricky. Also I'd really miss exploiting the dramatic impact of a really theatrically positioned, bold ++DENUNCIATION.
But I'm certainly interested in playing. I'm getting withdrawal symptoms. Put me down as a maybe for now, please...

I will happily put you as a maybe.
I'm rethinking my entire theories for this game...(the inevitable effect of a long wait) As the first game I mod, I'd like to keep this fairly simple. SO... Ignore all my blatherings about anonymous votes. This is going to be a very simple back-to-basics game. 3 wolves, 1 seer. Other Gifteds and Curseds will be considered depending on the numbers to sign up. player list ?Anguirel? Diamond Rikae Volo

Great! I'll make up an Admin Thread as soon as I've decided on a village name. I'd tell you what I was thinking...but I don't really know myself.

You may count me in as a maybe, too, Jenny. I doubt I will have anything to stop me from playing or need a pause from ww, but there are small possibilities to both, so I can't be sure.

Admin/Sign up thread is now up! I think I was able to come up with a good theme...but one can never be sure...especially when the idea is one that popped into your head at 11:30 PM while your husband mutters that it's sleepy time and I need to either settle down and quit talking to myself or get out of the bed.

Is Gil going to mod his game soon? I mean, we who don't qualify for Fea's game surely are suffering for lack of ww...
And if Gil's mega-game can't be played soon, what then?

Yes, another Junior game as soon as Jenny's is done would be most welcome. After all, I'm not dead....I'm getting better! I feel happy!

I'll be waiting for Gil to come forwards but then it seems to be myself being the next on the line. The last list of the mods I found was this. Valier (played) Jenny (in action) Gil Nogrod Mac Volo I have some preliminary ideas though. I might skip the Seer but install two or three Rangers who would work individually (not knowing about each other). No Seer but many Rangers would make the game pretty unnerving for the wolves - their Nightly pick would be just nervewrecking - but without a Seer the villagers would have to think it out themselves... If there would be enough players I would love to add one twisted character too (cobbler, werebear/black beorning... whatever). But let's first see if Gil will be around...

How is it with you Gil? Are you going to mod a game in the junior thread as next?
If yes, do go ahead, if not, let us know...

woops, sorry
it doesn't look like my gang=wars can really be used yet, so i'll just play a good ol' regular game, might introduce the Medium, an i idea i was podnering with, basically like the mix of the weaver and seer. The Medium chooses two people, one dead and one alive, and sends me the two chosen in a PM, then i'll tell them if the two people chosen have any connection. I'm debating about if i use this ability once every 2-3 days... tell me your thoughts 3 - Werewolves 1 - Guardian 1 - Medium 6-9 Ordinary Villagers i'm mainly going to go with the nubmers given too me, so please sign up now, also i'm going to choose about having either guardian and/or hunter, but again, it all depends on numbers when signing up, give me Name, Gender and Occupation/Race thanks in advance 1. Rikae, female, innkeeper, human. 2. Thinlomien, female, a society free rider, Orc

The Medium is basicly a Seer. With only the difference that it's not sure what his/her target is if it is not the same as the one he/she chose. I'd say that this is a weaker Seer that should dream each day. The Medium should be instead of the Seer, if you put one in your game. But don't put more gifteds than wolves.

I agree with Volo here.
It seems nothing is happening in the werewolf front, so put me down in your game as a maybe. (I won't be playing if this'll run simultaneously with Durelin's game since I certainly don't want to miss it.) *hopes to create a bandwagon for joining ww-games*

I'm sorry, but I have been in every game there has been around here this fall, ending with playing two games simultaneously... So I definitively need a break. But if it takes a long time to get this game up and running, I might reconsider. But just a couple of weeks without WW would do me good right now.
I hope people would join Lommy's bandwagon.

I'll sign up as well.
Race: Human Profession: Doctor Gender: Male And I'd like to see about modding another Werewolf game soon, perhaps the next WWJ. I have an interesting idea about the roles that, to my knowledge, has never been done before.

As for available time, I'll be home at Christmas and will have plenty of time for Werewolf until December 29th, when I'll be gone on a ski trip.

Yay! This is getting better all the time.
With this speed in signing I wouldn't think it too unprobable that the game starts in the weekend. If it does, I won't be very much around as I will be in my friend's summerhouse. (I will try to show up early-ish Friday and late-ish Sunday though.) And the 6th December is the independence day, so I can't necessarily get online (as I still don't have that drat net access home). And don't say maybe this is not the best time for me to play ww, because it is.
