Middle Earth Top Gear
I noticed in the paper today and advertisement for the Daihatsu Sirion and while I am not enough of a Tolkien fan to buy a Daihatsu becasue of the name - which also has bad omens for family conflicts (which arise easily enough in such confined spaces without further encouragement), it did make me wonder what other cars with middle earth names might be like.
The Nerdanel would surely be a people carrier (fertility statements on wheels), while the Feanor would surely be the Middle Earth equivalent of a Ford Pinto ( excessively explosive). The Aragorn would surely be a a 4x4 but more of a Landrover Defender than a Discovery (the Telcontar range would be the Range Rover equivalent). Clearly the ones named after Hobbits will be the very tiny cars. Any ideas?

How about an Allison Dunebuggy for Dol Amroth peoples? Also, A Hummer could be for a cave troll, an H2 for a Mountain Troll and an H3 for an Olog-hai. Perhaps a Harley Davidson motorcycle for a Nazgul steed? They're loud, but fast. A minicooper could be a hobbit car. Us here in the States (in Florida anyway) love the Euro models, btw. Perhaos a dwarf might have a utility vehicle, but not an SUV, an a truck mught be more mannish. And what about a minivan to hold all of those Moria orcs?
