Yes good point but they dont have the fighting skills of Men or Elves. Also, Elves are immortal unless killed in battle or by a broken heart (i think). How could you ask for more, Immortal, awesome fighter, great senses and a bow like no other. The elves are definatly the best lol.

I'd have to go with the dwarves. They are tough and sturdy, very serious, great craftsmen and engineers, good fighters up close. Climbing the seemingly endless stairs for duty's sake. My devotion to the clan comes before all. The beauty of the work of one's hands and the hunger to possess more beauty, more beauty. The shinny gold and silver and the sparkling diamands and rubies, treasures to be revered and honored. Burdens are welcome. Singing deep songs of battles won and comrads lost. Ah, I could go on and on.

Hi,this is my first post and i'd really like to be an Ent.....be giant and terribly powerfull and wise and in touch with nature. O course I'd like to be one before the Entwives were gone. Anyway,if I were a Maia i'd be likely to have been like Radagast,i like nature better then humans but Ents are my favorite race.

For some reason I never have really liked dwarves all that much, although I would love to be anything on Middle-Earth (even an orc ). I would love to be a human, but it would be great to be an elf, too. I also wouldn't mind being a hobbit. So, I like pretty much every race.

1420!

I´m a hobbit and nothing else Maybe because I´m short enough in real life. I like the hobbit-way of life. Why do you want to be a good fighter? If you´re a hobbit you never have to fight (though I like a short sword best, not to heavy when carried or wielded. And I´m a bit adventurous for a hobbit ... must be some Tookish influence ). If you´re hurt/tired your big friends can carry you, you get seven meals a day and you´re not immortal (the worst I can imagine).
I´m a hobbit in everything but stature!

The name should give you a clue. I have my preferences but choose not to disclose them for fear of terrorist action...

i think that my favourite race in the whole of middle earth would have to be the hobbits because they are funny and they like food.

I'd have to answer this question with the elves. they're totally ready for anything coming their way, and they don't brag about being immortal. also, they're so honorable.

I'd like to be a Maia, but I realize that is dreaming. it's like hoping once to become a god! as an existing being (the question always is: do gods exist) i'd love to be a Gondorian. serving Elessar, drinking with the guards of the white city, being a part of an ever-growing civilisation without having to fear the great evil ever again. being an elf must be enormously cool, but remember they all left Middle-Earth to die, or whatever you call sailing to the west. have you ever wondered what would happen to Maiar that die? would they go to the halls of Mandos too? I really like the Preakness, but I'm from Baltimore and I may be prejudiced. The 440 and the high hurdles are also very nice races. In winter, I guess the Downhill slalom deserves a nod.
(Gotcha! and Hobbits ain't bad, neither)

I like the elves, and the men. (Specifically Dunedain and Rohirrim). I'd want to have a bow, with a sword as backup for hand to hand.

I would like to be a hobbit because..well.. I really like their lifestyle,my friends call me a pig sometimes because I love food. And I would love to live in a cozy hole. It's rather cold where I live and I would love to live in a warmer place like the shire.

Second I guess would be the humans, I would rather live in Rohan than in Gondor.

Than come the elves.
And last would be the dwarves, I am slightly claustrophobic so I don't think the mines would be a good place for me.

Erue means the one he is the one who created the Ainur. If you want to know more about him read the Silmarillion.

I would either want to be an Elf of Rivendell or any one in Rohan. I love horses (thus Rohan ) and I think the people of Rohan are intiguing and very honorable. And An elf of Rivendell because who wouldn't want to be an elf in Rivendell! And also because I don't think I would get along with Dwarves since they have always kind of bugged me

For me, Herudaeglîn(Lord Shadowgleam), I would have to say I would love to be of the Poeple of Gondolin or of the People of Gil-Galad(of course they are both of the Noldor). I would not like to be at the Burning of Gondolin, unless of course Tuor and Idril liked me alot hehe.

Uh, seeing as I have an Elvish name and live in Rivendell....
Lets go elves, LETS GO!
But seriously, Hobbits, Men (and women!), slimey, crawly Slinker/Stinkers, trolls, Maiar, and, oh yes, orcsesss are very cool (even if they are kind of bad) But elves definately have my vote!

i think elves are the coolest (they have so many skills and they are soooo pretty) but to be a Valar or a Maiar would be pretty awesome.
