Ill post my new posts shortly and delete the save, but i regret to inform you, and this ains me somewhat, I will not be able to continue with the game.

Im off to Fiji in two weeks and between now and then a lot of work has popped up so Im just not going to have time for anything.

You can do what you want with Avanill, kill him whatever.

Once again I feel really bad that I have to leave after we have been on this for so long.

Hilde & Nerindel - what do you say we just go ahead & finish this story, eh? We are so close to the end, it would only take a few more posts from each of us to get there.

Dulrain needs to rescue Benia. Naiore needs to be captured. The scenario after her capture could play out pretty quickly. After that, all that's left are the wrap-up posts. Now that the holidays are over, we should all have a little more time to write. Let's just finish it!!!!!

I've just put in a Save for Barrold Ferny, which will be a transitional post, setting things up for the rescue of Benia. Nerindel - will you be able to write the rescue post? (I hope, I hope...) If not, please let me know & I will try to handle it from Benia's POV. Thanks!

First off sorry I have not been around, I've been really caught up with RL. Ealasaide if it's not too much trouble do you mind moving your save after the one I have just put up for Dulrain as I am (admittedly slowly) putting together a post for that group finding the unfortunate farmers/travellers corpse. Then hopefully I will find time to write a post for Lespheria discovering the breakaway group

End game outline

Dúlrain Et al

1. Dulrain with the help of Toby and Gilly go after Benia.

***WE ARE HERE***

2. Dúlrain kills Barrold and they free Benia

3. Dulrain confesses his love to Benia and she compassionately counsells him not to continue Kaldir's revenge and they all head back to Rivendell.

4. end post

Amandur's group

1. Amandur Et al leave Rivendell, finding Dir and discovering the fates of Kaldir and Rauthain.

***WE ARE HERE***

2. Léspheria and Naiore sense each others presence and a fierce unseen battle ensues, as Amandur's group moves to corner Naiore.

4. Naiore cornered, grabs Vanwe! Vanwe vainly attempts to reason with her mother and discover why she need her question answered at such high a price!

5. Avanill seeing an opportunity as Naiore is distracted by her daughter, Takes his deadly shot.

6. Vanwe slips from her mother's grasp into the arms of Léspheria. Naiore is then attacked by an enraged Ménecin.

7. Vanwe show's pity and compassion and stops her father from delivering the deadly blow.

8. Lespheria speaks to Naiore pointing out all that she has lost in persuit of an answer that was within her to begin with, She then turns her back on Naiore.

9. Naiore incensed and blaming Léspheria for Vanwe's pity strikes out at Léspheria.

10. Naiore is killed!

11. End post.

Pio, Ealasaide and I have started to discuss the matter off thread. It would be good to stick to our outline, but will require quite a bit of dialogue between us I think, in order to figure how to go about it without having Nerindel's posts included yet.

Pio - Yes... discussion with Hilde is now in full swing. We should be able to collapse quite a lot of the outline into just a few more (lengthy) posts from each of us. The Benia subplot can be resolved in a matter of three or four posts, plus whatever end posts we need. The Naiore subplot will be a bit more complex, but I don't see it as dragging on too terribly much longer, as we can combine several points of the outline into single posts, according to how Hilde & I end up dividing it up.

I should have my Save filled for Barrold Ferny by sometime tomorrow at the outside, after that I can look at the actual rescue scenario.

Nerindel- Please continue to jump in as you can! We will continue to move the action along, but neither Hilde nor I can write your characters quite the way you do.

Well, there is a lesser known corollary to that law that goes Everything takes longer than you think. That's the one that's gotten its hooks into me this weekend. I'll do my best to fill my save by tonight sometime.

Nerindel - if you are out there, you're up! I left the conversation open-ended for Dúlrain to resolve this issue once and for all. Vengeance or no? If you need for me to change anything in Benia's post, though, please let me know.

Aside from that, we need to bury Ferny and see to Toby's wounds, which can be handled either in Nerindel's post or a single post from any one of us. Once that is done, I think a closing post from each of us will be all we need before heading off the finish the Naiore side of the story.
