Silmaril Subsribing to threads?

I never really figured out how you subscribe to a thread. I just noticed that it said I was subscribed to one, but I don`t know how I did it. Posted so many times? No, I`ve posted in others a lot more, and it never said I was subscribed. Perhaps the length of my post?
Any help? Thanks!
Nimrodel

As far as I know, if you post on a thread you then become "subscribed" to it. Which means, you will get emails informing you when other people have posted on that thread. If you go to your USER CP, the subscribed threads that are shown, are ones that people have just recently responded to, it's not "all" of the threads you have posted on.
So, basically any thread you post on, you are subscribed to, the ones they show on the User CP are ones someone has just responded to, but you are still subscribed to all the other threads you posted on.

The Saucepan Man has been trapped in the Barrow!

You do not have to subscribe to the threads that you post on. If you go to your User CP and select "Edit Options", you can change the subscribe mode. If you don't want to subscribe to any threads, simply select this option.

You welcome Nimrodel. Don't worry, I've been a member for nearly a year, and it was only 6 months ago when I discovered I actually had a User CP, and then two months ago I just discovered how to give reputations . There's a lot of knicks and cranies, in this forum, which makes it interesting.

Thanks SpM, you just added to the list of things I didn't know (until now) about this forum .
