Ring New Tolkien Biography

There is a new Tolkien book out about the life of him and his works. It involves an interview with the man himself from 1972. It has recieved good reviews world wide and is called 'Sanctifying Myth' by Bradley J Firzer. Apparently this is the most in depth biography to date with plenty of information on why he did the things he did. Looks like a good read!

I LOVED it. I thought it was astute, insightful, and well-written, especially from the Catholic point of view, clarifying the Catholic perspective in many helpful instances.

(I'm an evangelical with Catholic roots.)

Is it better than Humphrey Carpenter's Bio? That was so good (and informative) I can't imagine a better one!
