quote:
Hey, yeah! It's only 20 DAYS until the EV of Towers is out!!! Yay!!!

And additionally the ROTK game from Electronic Arts comes out on the 6th, in only 8 days! Here is my thinking, okay, I get the game, it keeps me tied over until the Extended Editon, the Extended Editon keeps me tied over until all the interviews and press for ROTK starts, and all the press keeps me tied over until the 17th (and then of course all the holiday stuff will start at that time, and addtionally I also have a trip to Baltimore in about 2 1/2 weeks). I think I will be fine, but I still can't wait to see ROTK!

I've heard there's going to be a new RotK (or slightly new) trailer in front of Matrix: Revolutions and Elf, both of which incidentally I want to see.

Only 48 days? That's a bit soon, isn't it? I feel way too unprepared. I don't think I could emotionally handle anything Denethor related for quite some time. I'm far too involved with him now. May need to postpone it until February.

Unfortunately I do live here (Asia) And it will be shown January 2004 (really, really, really sucks! ). Because in my country there's this sort of filmfest for the whole month of December (our "Oscars" month), so all cinemas show just the local films. So all the films (which includes RotK) that came out December in the US gets pushed to January .
Maybe I should take away all the calendars in the house to make the wait easier ?

If I'm lucky, this year my parents will actually remember to buy tickets in advance. On the opening day of TTT, it sold out at nine in the morning! I wasn't very happy, especially since, all the theatres in town and anywhere nearby were sold out for a few days.

Call me stupid, but what's wrong with Star Wars? *dodges togeter with Elfearz*
Guess what's happening to me?! On December the 16, there will be an LOTR-marathon somewhere near me! First they are going to show the EE's from FOTR and TT, and after midnight, Rotk will be shown!
What's wrong you say, why are you crying? I'll tell you why, I'm not allowed to go!! *BIG sob* My mom is so mean! It's on a Tuesday, so the next day I still have to go to school. The 19th, Aethelwine? I'll probably have to wait til the 27th at the earliest!!! I'm grounded, for pity's sake!!!!!! Grounded til Christmas for talking on MSN. How ridiculous is that?
I have no idea what is happening with Trilogy Tuesday here. The cinemas are really disorganised. I wonder if I would be allowed to go, if there was one near? Oh, I feel for you Aethelwine, I really do!!! How harsh!!! I mean, how many times in our lives will there be something like that????

Cannot wait! I cannot wait! I must have it now! please! I need ths movie! It's my life! Sure, they keep going way off the books, but the trailer makes me cry so hard, and I wanna see it! I wonder if they'll show Legolas's little boat he made. *breaks down crying*

*unloads an 18-wheeler full of Kleenex*
I think we'll all need this. I won't be able to see RotK until the 18th or 19th most likely. I have school on the 17th (midterms to be precise), and unless the guy upstairs really really really loves me and decides to make my tests on the next day really really easy, my parents probably won't let me.

Here's some news from Ringbearer.org About Legolas' next stunt:

quote:
TORN posted this small spoiler quote from Orlando Bloom, who was the on 'So Graham Norton' last night ...
"Orlando was on 'So Graham Norton' tonight. He was mainly astonished at the information Graham gave him that there are now over a million web sites dedicated to him, but revealed the following about ROTK:
Bloom: "The fans loved me sliding down the stairs in the 2nd film, and Pete was looking for something which, basically was going to top all of that. And he said it to me, he was, like, alright son, wait for this one! And I went out for 3 days of reshoots and basically was just hanging on wires, and climbing up things and swinging around....so its gonna be quite an extravagant thing, because by the time they've cut me swinging on ropes and flying all over the place in with the special effects they do really well at Weta Digital, which is Peter's company, it'll be killer! I hope, I think. I'm sure."

Is he going to play SuperMan for a bit, like Gandalf played Zorro on the hill?
Thankfully (changing back to the original subject), I am allowed to go to RotK on the opening day (at the traditional time of around 4:00 pm) and I will, even if I have a test or two the next day, I'll risk not using my common sense. And I'll go in my flip-flops with my Frodo costume in the cold. That's the fun of it.
See you later!
~M
[ November 02, 2003: Message edited by: Morquesse ]

The reason I can't see it till it comes out on DVD is because my family doesn't believe in going to theaters. I had to wait till FotR and TTT came out on DVD to see it so I guess I'll survive.

Okay it's bad enough that the movie comes out in January in my country. But I think what's worse is that I've been watching too many movies recently and NEVER seen the ROTK trailer YET. So I guess if it all makes you weep, I better start carrying a box of Kleenex if it caught me unawares ( I think my friends will disown me when I start sobbing, 'cuz when I saw Pirates I practically squealed most of the time and they stuffed me with their jackets to shut me up )
Going back to my misery, all I can do now is stand in front of a ROTK poster and probably drool.
