This morning my friend and I went to the school library because she had to check a book out (or something like that) and I saw a book title that made me stop and stare. I saw "Elf Matters" I'm thinking, "Hmmm... that's a bit odd..." I look to see who it's by and I see that it's written by Dr. Phil. I started to think I was crazy! "Elf Matters" by Dr. Phil? It was only then that I realized that it was "Self Matters"... Let's just say my friend wouldn't let me forget it for the rest of the day

Today while at work (my local Library) I was putting away books and I saw one that I thought said by Billy Boyd! I thought "Wow he's written an Easy Reader?" Then I realized it said Lizzy Boyd

I have another one. We bought Finding Nemo today, and my little sister was saying something about Marlin a few minutes ago. I thought she said Arwen, and I had to get her to repeat it 3 times before I realized she was saying Marlin, not Arwen.

The other day I was sitting in my school's library, reading my incredibly beat up copy of the Silmarillion, when I noticed a picture book on the shelf off to my left entitled, "Minas Morgul". Of course, I wondered why anyone in his/her/its right mind would write a picture book about Minas Morgul. Of course, I then realised it said, "Tim McCoul", which made alot more sense.

Try beating this one:
I was in the store with my mum, picking out bibs to give to my little cousin at a present, and on a certain box, it said "Bibs" in slightly archaic letters. I thought it said "Bilbos" and started ranting and raving about how the store was selling poor little Hobbits, and how the wrath of the Valar would come down upon the owner of the store (it was Wal-Mart by the way). Honestly, I have no idea. I think someone may have mentioned the name in class, and the way they said it sounded like Morgoth. That's the only thing I can think of.

In my Web Design class today they had us research the history of the Internet. I went to a site and under a picture it said Token Ring which I automatically read as Tolkien Ring. I'm thinking "hey that's kind of cool, these people are Lord of the Rings Fans"... yeah... I fell for that one again.

I do the periodic table thing too, as well as mixing up the characters' names from "Bored of the Rings" with "Lord of the Rings." Plus, I now read the word Fritos as Frodo and Arrowroot as Aragorn, and the phrase "fair slacks" as Faramir (do NOT read "Bored of the Rings" if you value your sanity. ) I also do the "elven/eleven" thing. This isn't a hallucination, but there's a Ranger street in my town!

Technically this isn't a hallucination. I had a patient last night with the last name of Greenleaf. Of course I thought of Legolas first thing when I saw that name.

I had a similar Greenleaf incident. In American Literature, one of the poets middle names' is "Greenleaf." I did another periodic table one; I read Floride as "Faramir." I need help veeeeery badly.

Yet another one:
The other day I was shopping for a hat, there was a sign that said: Rollbrim Hat- $15.00 as Rohirrim- $15.00. I really wondered as to why they were selling the Rohirrim and how come they were so cheap. Also, the other day I read Chlorine as Olorin.

I do the PeriodicTable misconception waay too much. Let's see...
Bromine->Boromir Argon->Aragorn (At least it's noble...I know, lame.) Tellurium->Teleri Hafnium->Halfling Samarium->Saruman Gadolinium->Gondolin Thallium->Thalion Gallium->Gollum Palladium->Paladin (Took) Barium->Beren Thorium->Thorin *blinks* I think I'll just shut up now. Sort of on topic to finding things in the periodic table, but not a hallucination, I found Beleg in a periodic table wordsearch. That was odd.

Okay, if any of you have seen me in the chat room you know that i misspell all the time and get words confused ect...
well, here's my favorite..he he... ok i mean it. Wine= Pippin( Sorry, but it's happened) Bro(the slang for brother)= Boromir( Okay, he may be one of my favortie characters but, when someone said bro, what did i say? Boromir. of course.) The Ka( MY OWN NAME!)= Theoden King. (heh... funny.) Samatha= Sam(well, of course! can't forget the coolest hobbit!) Fan Fair= Faramir( yes, i need to get my ears cleaned out.) Marry= Merry (no comment.) And thousands more. all of wich no of you would enjoy hearing. trust me on this. Before i go, i need to tell my newest word mixup. Ok, we all know that Henry the 8th had many wives. One was called (if i'm correct.) Catherine of Aragorn. This caused me to spend 10 minutes thinking over this. Some where in my mind of useless facts and good ones i keep thinking that the word Aragorn (country, providence speaking) is spanish as spain... I don't know why but if anyone can tell me if i'm even close please send me a message! it would help me and the Ba very much. goodbye. Quote:

I live near Toronto, and the Toronto football team is called the Argonauts. So every time I hear that, I always think it's the Argonath.
Also, last year I lived in a university dorm, and there was a poster in the hallway with the word 'legless' on it. So every day I had to walk past this poster to get to class, and every single time, without exception, I would do a double take and think, "What?!? Legolas!" Some people might learn after the first few times, but not me, I did it every single day. This has seriously happened to me more times than I can ever count. It's good to know I'm not actually crazy. Or maybe I am, but at least I'm not alone.

Everytime I go to Media Play I always see the same store and see the same word hallucination... "Oh look! Hobbit Town USA!"
Roughly translated... Hobbytown (stupid people should fix that sign...)

Just today I mixed up divergent and Drengist. Also, I saw the name J[ames] Toklan and of course I read it as John Tolkien. My first thought was "where did the Ronald and Ruel go?"

Elven and Eleven. I usually end up swapping the two around when using them! The other day my mother asked me what time it was and I told her it was elven o' clock, needless to say there was silence followed by an odd look afterwards.
And as it has already been stated, I too confuse Legos for Legolas, Greenleaf I think of Legolas and then theres the mix up with the periodic table. Chemistry was so much fun my junior year! hehe... I also had the hardest of time reading Harry Potter and seeing the name Aragog, I immediately thought of Aragorn. Not a hallucination, but my dog's name is Arwen the word borrow-barrow. Wight, white. The name Elroy gets mistaken for Elros quite often, too. My grandfather's name is Luther, so when I see it written I see Luthien instead. And for some odd reason when I see a milky way bar I think of Melkor... The word lemon becomes lembas. When I first heard of the movie, Ella Enchanted, the only thing I heard was Ella and Immediately thought of Elladan. For the longest of time I thought Walker Texas Ranger was of the Dunedain And of course, I think Dunedain when I hear talk of the New York Rangers or the Rangers division in the Army.

Not really a hallucination, but still funy...
It's bad to talk about three musketeers while thinking about The Sil. The result I got was Darthagnian (d'Artagnan+Dorthonion) and Angamis (Aramis+angrist).
Also: Pharaoh=Pharazon
