English vs. French Subscripts
I noticed that if you use English subscripts on the DVD you only get the script for what the ppl are saying, but if you watch in french, you get all the directors stuff, like the mood they are trying to create, and just all their thoughts and just random tidbits of information on the making the movie for each scene. *wonders why the English speaking only ppl don't get this*

Perhaps they wanted to sneak in little bits of information to the Tolkien fans, and couldn't think of an insidious way of doing so in English, so they did it in French.
