Umltimate Matchup. 4 Men Enter, ! Man Exit.
In an all oout fight, every man for himself, no teams or good guys or bad guys, who would win, all fighting at the same time. Sauron, Voldemort, Gandalf, and Dumbledore. Who would win? I would put the dough on Sauron. How bout' you?

I would have to say frodo, if he uses the ring. How do you kill some one who is invisible?
woops I would pick Sauron with the ring. [ June 26, 2002: Message edited by: Alkanoonion ]

Whose Voldemort and Dumbledore?
But as for Gandalf and Sauron, Id put my money on Gandalf. The way i see it is that they are both Maiar, but Sauron is more powerful. Unfortunatly for him, Gandalf is the wisest of the Maiar, which gives him the advatage. A little weak guy with good wrestling moves might take down a huge football player who doesn't know what he's doing if you know what i mean. But Sauron isn't just a big dumb jock, nor is Gandalf weak. So it would be a pretty good fight, but i belive that Gandalf would win in the end.

I am afraid that Sauron would beat Gandalf. Sauron learned many foul things when he was the servant of Morgoth, and Gandalf strength is not that he can fight, but that he knows the weak spot in his enemy. He just needs someone to hit that spot for him.

Gandalf is my bet. My first bet would have been Dumbledore, but I changed my mind anyway...

Sauron and Gandalf would kill each other, after first turning on and annihilating the hopelessly inept dweebuses from HP.

What would have happened if all of them would have fought anyway? (aside from all four of them looking quite the same)

Voldermort would try to cast the weenie green light killing spell that he tried to kill Potter with on someone, it would kill Dumbledore most likely, but Gandalf? PLEASE! Gandalf would suck it up with his staff or something. Or it just might give him a broken toe or something. and if Volde tried that on Sauron... Sauron would pick him up by the shirt collar and eat him! Voldemort would be so pitiful. And then Dumbledore, hee-hee! I can imagine Dumbledore and Gandalf duking it out. That would be funny... the only thing would be Sauron and Gandalf, that could go either way.
What would happen if instead of Voldemort and Dumbledore, it was Yoda and Darth Vader??? I have no idea who would win. It would be a draw between all four.

Voldermort's a wannabe. Dumbledore's a wannabe Gandalf. Harry Potter's a stupid little kid.
Sauron is awesome. Gandalf is uncomparable. Frodo is cool/. [ June 29, 2002: Message edited by: Gimli Son Of Gloin ]

I don't know about that. Yoda is really powerful, he might beat Gandalf. Darth Vader might beat Gandalf, but doubtful. Yoda probably would not beat Sauron. I don't know, it would be a four way draw.

For starters, I'd pick Gandalf, for his wisdom and the fact that he's a Maiar, but, I would also put my $ on Sauron, considering the fact that he beated up ALOT of good guys, turned 9 Men into Wraiths, turned the Palantir into tools of evil and the fact that he learned most of his stuff from Melkor, his master.
Dumbledore wouldn't last long, and Volde- oops, You-know-who , would, of course, try the Avada Kedavra curse, but it would probably only kill Dumbledore (but maybe he will shout out the counter-curse) and have no effect on the LOTR characters. But Sauron vs Gandalf? I don't know.... |

Anyhoo, I think that Gandalf would beat Voldemort and definitely Dumbledore. After all, he defeated a balrog. However, I'm not sure about Gandalf verses Sauron.

I'd automatically eliminate Voldemort and Dumbledore, which leaves Sauron and Gandalf. It's a close match, but I think that Gandalf would win because it seems that in The Lord of the Rings good nearly always triumphs, even when the odds are on evil's side.

HA! Sauron would win that!!! I mean, a little 12 year old with a scar on his head vs. an extremely evil bad guy who's a Maiar and who's lived waaaaaaay longer than 12 years AND look how he handled those guys at the Last Alliance...I mean, how many more reasons does Sauron need?!

Ummm, I could be completely wrong on this, but here goes...
I think that Dumbledore, being a takeoff of Gandalf, would probably defeat Voldemort. Then, Sauron would kill Dumbledore. Then, Gandalf and Sauron would duke it out, causing them both to be destroyed. That's my analysis.

Dumbledore would kill Voldemort, because in Harry Potter the good guys always win. Then Gandalf would kill Dumbledore for impersonating him, and then Sauron would duke it out with Gandy. Ultimately, Gandalf would win, because he saved his power for the fight and Sauron did not.
