another question
Name, in order, from it's creation to it's destruction, all of the people who ever carried or held the One Ring, for however long or short period of time. Don't forget, two individuals gave up possession of it (whether voluntary or not, and one, multiple times) and regained it.

That list is not exactly complete. Remember Gandalf holds the ring when he tests it in fire.

Good spot, Elfchick7. I had thought that Gandalf hadn't ever held the Ring, because in the film, he makes a point of not doing so. But, in the book, he takes it to throw it into the fire before removing it with tongs and then holding it again.

Does Boromir ever touch the ring? Its been a while since i read the Lord of the Rings. Or is it just in the film, when he lifts it by the chain with blade of his sword?
