Songs and Poems
I love the Songs and Poems in the Lord of the Rings they are so awesome! So one day when I was extremely bored I wrote music to the Lament for Boromir. The poem that Aragorn and Legolas sing. I'm not finished with it yet or anything. I was wondering if anyone else who posts here has ever written music for the songs and poems?
I hope that this is the correct forum to post this in. If not feel free to move it where ever it belongs.

I think this will probably be moved to Novices & Newcomers or Middle Earth Mirth, but it is a good enough topic. I personally know how to play bass, acoustic bass and guitar, but have never attempted to write music for any Lord of the Rings songs or poems. I do, however, make a point of going through and figuring out in my mind exactly how each one should be sung or recited (or at least how it sounds best to me in my head).

I've written a song about the downfall of Numenor that a good friend of mine made a lovely chello piece for. Unfortunatly, it isn't yet finished as she's currently in Turkey.

I wrote very simple music to Galadriels warning to Legolas. I'm a bit of a simpleton when it comes to music, but it't not bad.
Lady Alasse, I love that poem. It'd be great to hear everyones music but that's virtually impossible so I'll satisfy myself with imagining it for now
