Just for fun - If people in Middle Earth wore t-shirts, What would they say?
If you were a character in LOTR, and if people in Middle Earth wore t-shirts with slogans, what would yours say?
If I were a Maia living among elves or men, I'd want a t-shirt that read, "Ask me about the Ainulindalë" Suppose the nine Nazgûl had t-shirts (in black, of course) that read, "Servant of Sauron" and Sauron had one, almost the same, that read, "Servant of Melkor" Frodo would have this one, (this is actually a real t-shirt design) I was … chased from my house, stabbed by a wraith, assaulted by a mutant octopus, speared by a troll, stalked by a creepy little man, drawn into a corpse-filled swamp, poisoned by a giant spider, rendered unconscious … I even lost my Ring, And all I got was this lousy tshirt And if I were any randomly selected hobbit, mine would be: (this is also a real t-shirt design) The Prancing Pony Inn Bree

I think this should go in the Mirth section...
Butterbur's T-shirt would say: "One moment, I'm coming!" or "Please remind me if I forgot about any letters"

Pippin's t-shirt would probably read....
Demand my help if you ever wish to mess up and get beaten up. Gandalf's may read as..... First grey, then white; My anger's my greatest might. |

This amusing thread idea is definitely suited to the Mirth forum area. I'm moving it there - please continue to read and post at the new location. Thanks!
