Wish I still had cable. Are they showing the theatrical or the director's version's? Do you know?

TNT has a high definition channel which would present it in its original wide screen ratio plus in 1080 so you get all the detail. If you have a TV and cable service that will deliver that for you its the only way to watch these and truly appreciate the beauty of all 3 films.

I believe these will be the theatrical versions. TNT has shown them several times in the past, but the extended versions have never (to my knowledge) been released to television.

Just passed by the channels and saw The Fellowship being played. Awesome. It's somewhat sad that the movie is being played on cable though, as its only been 6 or 7 years since the film. Maybe that's a just amount of time...but still. Feels like so long ago since the films came out.
