I'm no da Vinci, but...
I predict that this will put the How Do You Imagine Other BDers? thread and the photo page out of business! (Wait, maybe I should have said so in The Future of the Downs... )
The other night I was bored and doodling little pictures, and I decided to cartoonize some Downers while poking a little fun at the comings and goings on the fora. Warning: they're quite silly, and hardly great feats of artistry. 1. Lalwende is dating WHO? 2. Davem tells them off once and for all... 3. Saucie provides group therapy for The Hobbit characters... More to come in the future... Anyone else want to have a go at it? |

You have to see these, folks! And Enca has captured davem's eyebrows perfectly - they do point up just like that when he's arguing!

That's just brilliant, Enca. You'll be the first official Barrowdowns illustrator.

Hehe! Davem is just how I imagine him when crossing swords with him in some of the more "contentious" threads ...
And the likeness of me is incredible - well, it would be were you to go back some 15 years. Loving your work, Enca. Looking forward to seeing some more.

And here I thought this would be some kind of religious mystery or conspiracy thread! I would never have guessed something along the lines of a Downs anime.
Superb,Encaitare! Although I have never thought that SpM and davem had similar hair styles. and, even,

Oh, these are great. I actually came on this thread because I thought it was a Da Vince's Code thing...pleasantly suprised.
An A+ from me.

I also originally thought she had discovered some hidden code in the LotR. It's amazing how much that book has influenced people... Da Vinci is no longer an artist in people's minds, but a codemaker. Special prize: I'll create a little picture, most likely terrible quality, including anybody who can tell me where my current sig is from. Without using a search engine. |

EDIT: Here we go! Sorry, that's the largest image I could get free... it was originally bigger. And I can't use my gigantic scanner, so I had to do it in paint. Last edited by the guy who be short; 08-29-2005 at 07:02 AM. |

Don't be discouraged by lack of scanners! Anybody can create something of abysmal quality on paint (I did) and www.photobucket.com offers free (albeit with limited space) image hosting. Everybody can join in.
Plus, with all our low quality paint-produced artwork, we'll make Enca and Fea look even better. |

just wondering...
Well...I finished up a "black sharpie drawing" I was doing awhile ago of the BDers (as they're represented on here at least) who participated in the original WW game.
But since my primary go-between (deviantart) is mostly unaccessible to me at the moment, I don't know whether I should just put the pictures of it up here (Crazy Caption style ) or wait until I get access to deviantart. Any ideas? -Estel- |

Oh, how could I not join this merriment?
Much against popular demand, I've decided to add a picture I drew a while ago, seeing this thread. I thought about photoshoping it, but then I thought, "Bah! I can't be bothered."
It began as a picture of the Lord Wight, but sort of expanded into a little picture of him getting annoyed at a particular running joke... Sorry, my drawing is not that good.

Thanks, folks!
I hope I'm not going to destroy this thread now, but I quickly put together another picture that amused me slightly. It's the Phantom with a pile of gold... Demanding (of me) some more. I have no idea why. Sorry if you're insulted Phanto', nothing was intended. Plus, I think I made him a little too fat... Well, judge for ye selves.
