It's in reference to another book, a non-Tolkien book.

Could it be Ender? I know the book you speak of Morm but I cannot find a member with a suitable name to fit your clues...yet
Edit: It could be Beanamir.....Bean was also a bugger killer.

Is it, mark12_30?
His name is a Bible verse. ("Love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, all thy mind, all thy soul and all thy strength") And, who knows, he may work for MI-5 or some other secret agent place. You're not a Spook are you, mark, if that is your real name...

I believe she is referring to a RPG character that somebody has but not knowing many of those I do not have any idea as to who it might be.

Rhod the Red?
The 'singular' of Robbie I took to mean 'Rob' which sounded simelar to 'Rhod' and the 'Red' seemed reminiscent of Rudolph the red nosed reindeer... so... yes.

Firefoot
Hooves of Fire in the singular is Hoof of Fire, hoof being a foot of an animal and it's rather clever because Firefoot is the name of a horse and our beloved member so it fits rather well in many respects. Of course, having said that I'll be wrong.

Well done Morm... spot on.
Hooves of Fire was the title of the first Robbie the Reindeer animated short...so the answer, when made singular is indeed Firefoot

AbercrombieOfRohan because of the Downer Periodic table. But there have been others who have made one and I'm not sure if Abercrombie is female or not...
... Am I on the right lines at least?

Come on, this is an old joke... anyone who's been around long enough should know it and newer members, especially thoise who know anything about science, have very good chances of guessing it...
