I'm assuming there's going to be a new line (pun intended).
I can't wait to see the Galadriel Barbie with Mirror Accessories and Eowyn Shieldmaiden Barbie with handy sword and shield. Oh, and we couldn't forgot Ugluk Barbie fully equipped with Head-Chopping Action. Oh my, that's a disturbing visual *slaps self mercillesly with Grond to grind out the traumatizing image of Ugluk in a powder blue miniskirt*.

How about a "Rosie Cotton" Shelly?
(I have a 6 year old daughter, so I am knowledgeable in all things Barbie. )

Legolas IS a Barbie doll.
My sister wants a Lurtz-Boromir Barbie set [I already have the action figure set] but she sez the Barbie set would come with Boromir-shooting action, complete with magnetic Boromir and magnetically attracted arrows. Why not an Eowyn-Faramir Barbie set? T'would be much cuter than Strider and Arwen.

I saw a Galadriel action figure in this one store. And you know how, on the back of the box, they have some random spew to make the toy inside sound really good? Well, hers was, "Pull her hood over her head!" And that was it. By the Valar, I couldn't stop laughing forever.

Arwen does look dead. She is way too pale. And what is that thing on Aragorn's, uh, shirt? armor? It looks like a Christmas tree. There is a Legolas barbie doll? That is pretty sad. I can just picture an Eowyn doll. She'd probably one of those that have special jointed kness and hips so she can ride a horse. Are they going to make little Hobbit dolls too? Orc barbie dolls? That is rather disturbing - and I thought Arwen was bad... |

No there really isn't a Legolas Barbie doll yet but the action figure my sister has sure looks like a Barbie. To be specific, Cowboy Barbie.
"With knife-slashing action!" I like my Lurtz better. He shoots arrows.

I think it's quite cheesy to make LotR barbies.I'd like to see Arwen's ears though (wonder if they're pointed).

If they're this desperate to make money off of the LotR craze, they'll probably be selling LotR-themed body piercings next. I can just hear it:

I personally want to see a Gollum Barbie, or a Sam Barbie that includes Bill The Pony. That would be cool.

"Gollum Barbie" Now that's disturbing. I suppose it comes with complete fish chewing action and juicy sound effects. I would like to see a Faramir Ken; you can't have him Eowyn, he's mine!!! As you can see, I'm just a little obsessed; really, just a little.

No one hurt me but... I actually think that Barwen doesn't look half bad (dodges arrows and swords). Now hear me out! I think that's a pretty good job transforming the character from the movie to the doll. However, I can't say the same for Elessar - Ken : That is just hideous!!! I wouldn't mind getting the barbie (for collection purposes only!) but not the Ken! *shudders* They've murdered my image of poor Viggo!
