Historical Background: The Nazgûl reappear and their chief goes north to Angmar in the Misty Mountains. He becomes the Witch-King of Angmar. Orcs increase in the Misty Mountains and attack the dwarves. More hobbits move Westward.

Basic Storyline: It's been 3 months since the Great Golden Hoard adventure and Thin-Gloomy, the winner of the Great Golden Hoard adventure has been kidnapped. A message has been sent out to the other contestants and his friends to come help find him.

This game takes place in the 3rd Age at around year 1300.

The storyline itself or plot covers 1 week – 2 weeks.

This game requires a time commitment of 8 weeks from me, the game owner and from the major players.

If I may suggest, those who play the dwarves should probably make them weird/un-proper dwarves in the community, since Thin-Gloomy hardly has had any friends in his life and those few aren't probably the most normal sort of people.

I'll try to write the first post in a few days. (From what should I start? The jail? the kidnapping? Or is it up to me?)

Great to be in, I'm itching to see what will come out of this!

Hmm, I was thinking maybe do two or three posts of travelling, one of which inculdes details of the kidnapping. How does that sound? After that, do whatever you would like.

Their only requirement is to have posted in one of the Inns and to read through the Red Book of Westmarch rules.

Hello everyone and welcome to the Life of Gold RPG! For those of you who do not know how this was derived, I shall tell you. After the Great Golden Hoard game that Valier had ran, I wanted to take it a step further and turn it into this RPG. Simple as that.

Gald to see old faces in (Cordelia and Crystal) and I'm happy to see those I have never played with before. I am hoping that this will turn out to be a blast.

And, Jenfried (pronounced "jen-freed", byt the way, not "fried" like in french fries - just if you were wondering

) is exaggerating a bit. She is in pain, but the wound probably isn't that bad ie you might get a bit wrong picture of the thing if you take her feelings as objective truths (that goes to other things as well, of course).
