Riddles in the Downs - The Barrow-Downs Discussion Forum

One of my favorite parts in the hobbit is the Riddle-match between Gollum and Bilbo. So i thought, why not start a riddling game on anything in the hobbit and the lord of the rings, or even ME geography? I'll start out with one:

A hasty one to some, friend of hobbits
A young one, with an elvish name

We did already have a couple of riddle games but, since they were dormant, I have closed them.

Please feel free free to continue the riddle game here. Usual rules apply. First person to answer the current riddle correctly gets to set the next one.

Bregalad: The elvish name of Quickbeam, a young and relatively hasty ent, companion to the hobbits Merry and Pippin.
