Search button not working
Hi. Sorry if this has been addressed already, but the Search button does not work on many forums or threads in Microsoft Edge, Chrome, or Firefox for me, even after logging out, clearing cookies, etc. When I click "Search" at the top of some forums, or "Search Thread" at the top of some threads, there is no popup to search.
Is this a known issue? |

I've had that issue for years, but if I right click and open in a new tab, it works.

Ditto. I think a few functions on the forum don't pop up properly but open if you right click - search, reputation. You can also go through the main search and add various criteria (e.g. searching specific forums, or posts/threads by specific users).

While I would never call the search function user-friendly or even fully operational, if you use advanced search, it usually works.

Thanks for the replies. I don't mind working around it. I bookmarked the Advanced Search, so I've mostly been using it that way.
Have Admins ever looked into enabling 3-letter word searches? (I wanted to search for "Eru" but couldn't.) I looked it up and it's supposedly possible in vBulletin, but does require rebuilding the search index, and I don't know what that means for a board with threads stretching back 20 years. |

Clearing your browser's cache and cookies can often resolve issues with website functionality. Make sure to clear them for all time or at least for the specific website you're having trouble with.
