For this trivia game, we start with A and try and work through the alphabet as many times as possible using words from Middle-earth and then describing them.
A is for Anarion The younger son of Elendil the Talland brother of Isildur. The brothers, both of whom had been born in Numenor before its Fall, ruled as conjoint Kings of Gondor from shortly after its founding until Anarion perished at the Seige of Barad-dur.

I suspect we might have more than a little trouble with J. Tolkien doesn't seem to have been overly fond of that particular letter.

Indeed - that is the only entry for J that the encyclopedia of Arda gives. I suspect Quenya and Sindarin don't even possess the letter.

M is (my gf tells me) for Mithril
Or True Silver. The metal only found In Khaza-dum, which price was ten times and now it is beyond price - It could be beaten like copper, and polished like glass; and the dwarves could make of it a metal, light and yet harder than tempered steel. Its beauty was like to that of common silver, but the beauty of mithril did not tarnish or grow dim. The Elves loved it - and used it for among other to make ithildin, starmoon.
