A Distinguishing Mark
Ever wonder all the details on the fellowship's trip to the tattoo parlor? I have an article here, though you might have to squint to see it {it's a little blurry}, and it interviews everyone who went to get the tattoo. I'm sure some of you might have already seen this when surfing the web or something, but for all who haven't, here it is.
click for the interview

When was that interview done? I'm wondering because some of the actors have exposed their tattoos to TV now. I saw a picture of Ian McKellan showing his and watched Elijah Wood expose his tattoo on Jay Leno last December. For those who haven't seen it yet, I'll have you know that the tattoo really does look neat.
Interesting Fact: According to Elijah Wood, each tattoo has a different shade to make them unique to the individual.

I am pretty sure that after they showed their tatoos on TV many obbessed LOTR fans went out and got the exact same thing. I think that Peter Jackson got one too on his arm because he showed it during an interview.

I'm not sure exactly when it was done, Brinnial. I just found it on this Viggo site when I was looking for quotes {for no specific reason } and I came across the article.

Great article! I hadn't seen it before, so thanks for sharing. It's not mentioned here, but didn't John Rhys-Davis not get one? I've heard that his stunt double got one instead.
