Sting what did he mean

what do you think gandalf(sp?) ment when he said "people lived he before hobbits and people will live he after hobbits' not what he says exzacly but close.of cores he ment the shire but who do you think lived there befor and who do you think lived there after.Im gessing elfs before and men after but men form bree? or form where

Uh, first of all, you need to take spelling over again. Elves lived on ME before men, but after they left for the havens, men took over. There, that about says it.
