August 29th New DVDs

I'm curious if anyone has any "inside info" concerning the new DVD's being released tomorrow (Aug 29, '06). Is there any new material being presented, other than the already mentioned new documentary? What makes these DVD's a "must have" other than the customary need to have all-things Peter Jackson?

I'd like a little info prior to purchasing them cuz I'm afraid that all I'll be buying is a new documentary. And is that really worth the money? I'm not sure.

Thanks for any info.

Essex has just left Hobbiton.
not out till 25 sep in england.

the docs are from 90 mins - 120 mins long on each one.

and it looks like they've squeezed both version of each film onto 1 disc too? not sure of picture quality if they've done this but it would be handy to have the ees on 1 disc (insead of 2) - maybe they dont have the commentaries to make more room?

also, if you shop around you can get them for £12 instead of £20

i might wait till they drop in price unless the docs are THAT good

The picture quality isn't affected but the behind the scenes documentaries are amazing, you get to see the cast and crew acting and working and putting everything together to make the end product. I wasn't disappointed with them and if you have the money I would definitely recommend buying them.
